Valli created and led a workshop for parents of the adolescents that were in-patient in a psychiatric hospital.  The morning was set up as a didactic lecture to parents, and the afternoon was a multi-family therapeutic process group with parents and adolescent patients. Because this got such good feedback,  Valli was asked to do the same format on the adult unit as the Bipolar Spectrum Program Multi-Family Workshop.
